Spinal cord injury does not discriminate. It can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. It's as easy to do as falling down the stairs. In less than a minute your life could be changed forever. Paralysis is permanent. There is no cure.

The Back-Up Trust is a dynamic national charity which runs services that build confidence and independence following a devastating spinal cord injury.

Our courses are open to anyone with spinal cord injury. Whether you are eight or 80, male or female, there’s always something to get involved with at Back-Up, regardless of your background or interests.

 

You can choose from three skydiving experiences, registration costs are £50, and if you hit your fundraising target, you can jump for 'free'*

Imagine the adrenaline rush as you leave the plane at 12,000ft, heading towards the earth at 120mph for 7,000ft of free fall, then the tranquility as the parachute deploys and you gently descend back to terra firma.
